水中にはぷっくりと

ハイサイ、がんくーです。
今日はホテイアオイの写真です。
花はとてもきれいです。
梅雨の時期に似合う花ですね。

この花は水に浮かんでいるのですが、
水中にある葉柄という部分が
布袋さんのおなかのように膨らんでいるところから
この名前がついたそうです。
水から花をひきあげて葉柄部分を見てみると
なるほどなと思いました。
