今日２月６日は、久米島紬の日なんだそうです。
久米島紬は絹の織物なんですが、
ここ琉球村では残念ながらおいていません。

でも、花織という技法での織物をおこなっていますよ！
刺繍がほどこされているようにみえるのですが、
糸を浮かしておる技法で、手織りで織っています。
