今日は琉球女性が身につける「ジーファー」をご紹介します！
琉球は昔、王族・士族・平民・農民の位階の違いを一目でわかる制度の中で使われました。
王族は金、士族は銀、平民や農民は木材などで作られました。
ジーファーの形は昔の女性の後ろ姿を表しています。
昔、ある民家が火事になり、その家の婦人が肌身離したことのないジーファーを火中に投じて鎮火を願ったといいます。
ジーファーは女性の分身なのです！✨
